What is ki(気)?
2010年11月26日 趣味I’ll now explain the secret of Ki(気).
But I’m afraid you may be very disappointed after learning the secret.
It is very similar to when you know the secret of a magic trick.
You may think "what a trivial magic that is!"
Whether or not, reading this article is up to you. Don’ be shocked by the truth!
OK?
Before you read my diary, why not compare these movie? There are some common feature.
A cheetah
B 塩田剛三
Do you detect the common feature?
The movie A is a running cheetah.
The movie B is Shioda’s fighting(You shold watch at the time 2:34~.
The scene shows a feature very clearly.)
The mechanism of ki is when you put forth, not only you use a part of your muscle but also you use your muscle with other part.
You see when cheetah run, their back muscle moves with their feet muscle.
Muscle is the only organ to be able to put forth.
So if you want to put out big force, you should have big muscle.
Some ordinary people train a part of their muscle.
Certainly it is very reasonable to use big force.
But in the case of Aikido, Aikido’s masters not train a part of muscle but they connect all of their muscle(Consequently the mass become very big.)
And practice how to use all parts of muscles.
For example, when you lift something you will use only your arm muscle.
But Aikido master use their back muscle with their arm muscle(In the movie B, 2:34~scene shows the feature very clearly.)
Of course if you know the secret, you can’t be the same person like Shioda.
Shioda had endured very hard training and if you want to use your all muscle, some special traing is needed(So there are a lot of people who go dojo.)
And then I wonder why human has retrograded at the point of how to use their body.
Animals still know how to use their body.
I think there are a lot of things we have to learn from animal.
(In my next diary, I’ll explain why Aikido masters call the mechanism ki(気).)
